Amy E. Simpson

Amy was born in Pfafftown, North Carolina. She graduated cum laude from Duke University 1992, with a B.A. in English and a Certificate in Markets and Management. In 1996, she received both her J.D. with honors from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Masters in Business Administration from the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Amy is a is a member of the Mecklenburg County, North Carolina and American Bar Associations. She is the Pro Bono Committee Chairperson and a member of the Family Law Council for the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association; and is Vice-President Elect of the Charlotte Women’s Bar (a division of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys). She is admitted to practice in North Carolina State Courts, as well as the Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She has contributed and published papers for the National Business Institute and the North Carolina Bar Association.

Amy is married to Adam Fiorenza, and enjoys golf, waterskiing and trying new restaurants.
