Charles M. Viser
Practice Focus—Commercial Litigation and Criminal Defense

A native of Charlotte, Casey received his B.A. in Economics and Spanish in 1994 from Hampden-Sydney College and his J.D. in 2000 from Campbell University School of Law. Casey was president of the Student Bar Association, Case Summary Editor of the Campbell Law Observer and recipient of the school’s Outstanding Leadership Award in 2000.

He was a member of the 2002 Impact Fund Class of the Foundation for the Carolinas, the 2003 Bar Leadership Institute and the 2004 Arts and Science Council Grants Panel. He is now a member of the boards of the Eastover Homeowners Association in Charlotte and the Mecklenburg County Republican Party. Casey was listed in the Business North Carolina Magazine’s 2007 “Legal Elite” and was named to The Charlotte Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in June 2007. He is a member of the Mecklenburg County, North Carolina and American Bar Associations and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. Casey is married to the former Boo Dabbs of Charlotte and they both play active roles in various civic organizations in Charlotte.
