Beth T. Hondros
Beth received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Guilford College and her Juris Doctorate from the Wake Forest University School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Hugh A. Wells of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Although Beth originally joined James, McElroy & Diehl in 1994, she left in 2003 to live in Athens, Greece, where she continued practicing law before returning to the firm in 2009. Today her practice primarily focuses on the issues of child custody, child support, spousal support (post separation support and alimony), equitable distribution, and domestic violence.
Beth also serves on the Socrates Foundation, which supports the mission and development of the Socrates Academy, a North Carolina public charter school.
