Pender McElroy
Managing Partner

A practicing attorney in Charlotte since 1969, Pender McElroy earned the Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the North Carolina Law Review. After law school, he served as clerk for one year to Justice William H. Bobbitt of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Pender is the managing partner of James, McElroy & Diehl and serves as a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

Deborah Lovelett
Firm Administrator

Debbie is responsible for the administration of the law firm, including accounting, human resources and operations. She studied Accounting at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where she earned a B.S in Business and Economics. She is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and is active in the Charlotte Chapter. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church, is married and has two adult children.

Reza Ashrafi
Information Technology Administrator

Reza is charged with the administration of Information Technologies at the firm including network, database, security, communications, and applications. Reza holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems. Reza is a member if International Legal Technology Association.
