Jennifer Lohr Barhorst
Jenny Barhorst joined James, McElroy & Diehl in 2026, and focuses her practice on civil litigation.
Jenny graduated from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. While in law school, Jenny was a staff member for the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law.
Originally from Kentucky, Jenny began practicing law in Dayton, Ohio where she worked as a prosecutor. While at the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, Jenny participated in numerous felony jury trials and has established herself as someone comfortable in the courtroom.
Outside of work, Jenny enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, doing anything outside, and spending time with her husband and golden retriever.
