Tamela T. Wallace
Tamela Wallace has over three decades of experience representing clients in all areas of family law. Her experience renders her astutely poised to navigate both the complicated and the routine issues that arise during a separation or divorce. Adhering to a client centered approach to representation, Tamela provides compassionate and results driven advocacy. Her focus areas are divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, alimony, and equitable distribution.
She has been recognized by both her peers and the local Charlotte community for her zealous advocacy, diligence, and professionalism. She has received multiple honors throughout her career including being named a “Woman of Justice” honoree by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly, “Charlotte’s Best for Family Law” by the Charlotte Observer, and she is consistently honored by her peers for being recognized as a “Legal Elite” in Business North Carolina.

She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She received her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University where she received multiple American Jurisprudence Awards for academic excellence.
In her spare time, she loves watching Carolina Panthers football, skiing in Colorado and spending time with her family.
