Beth T. Hondros Featured by National Business Institute as CLE Speaker on Family Law

September 11, 2019 (Charlotte, N.C.)—James, McElroy & Diehl, P.A. (JMD) is pleased to announce that Beth T. Hondros, a partner in the firm’s Family Law practice, will be speaking at the National Business Institute (NBI, Inc.) seminar Family Law From Start to Finish.

The two-day course, designed for attorneys and paralegals, will include procedural guidance, how-to’s, sample forms, and best practices. According to NBI, participants will also learn how to “navigate special, hot-button issues such as the growing impact of social media in litigation and how to properly tackle frustrating support/income issues.” The seminar is planned for September 12 and 13, 2019 at the Courtyard Charlotte Airport/Billy Graham Parkway.

Beth will be speaking on “Prenuptial Agreements: Key Clauses and Considerations” on September 12, with coverage on drafting prenuptial agreements, a key family law document, and understanding all options, benefits and potential drawbacks as well as confidently guiding clients through related decision-making processes.

Beth received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Guilford College and her Juris Doctorate from the Wake Forest University School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Hugh A. Wells of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Although Beth originally joined James, McElroy & Diehl in 1994, she left in 2003 to live in Athens, Greece, where she continued practicing law before returning to the firm in 2009. Today, her practice primarily focuses on the issues of child custody, child support, spousal support (post separation support and alimony), equitable distribution, and domestic violence.
