Family Law Partner Lauren Leader Graduates From SC Family Law Trial Academy
JMD lawyers are always striving to elevate their skillset! This weekend, Lauren Leader, a family law partner, graduated from the South Carolina Family Law Trial Academy — a rigorous four-day program dedicated to honing courtroom advocacy in family law. The Academy featured an esteemed faculty, including SC Court of Appeals Judge Jerry D. Vinson, Jr., eight Family Court judges from across South Carolina, and others. The Honorable John W. Kittredge, Chief Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court, began the Academy with an inspiring address, followed by three days of intensive trial training. Lauren practices family law in both North Carolina and South Carolina and is looking forward to incorporating the Academy’s lessons into her practice.
